The Easter weekend saw some fantastic boat fishing sport more akin to that of the summer holidays! The weather was a balmy 26 degrees in most places, and the fishing was just as hot. On Thursday, the BFM crew headed to Lymington and ended up boating over 120 black bream to just short of 4lb. On the same day, a group of lads from 'The Sporting Wranglers' club headed out of Aberdovey on Charlie Bartlett's boat 'Mikatcha' to nail no less that 20 tope - the biggest a whopping 68lb!
There were reports of tope from Weymouth over the weekend, and pretty much everywhere from the Thames Estuary to the Bristol Channel saw some decent bass being caught too. Has summer arrived already? Keep an eye on the BFM news feed and we'll update you with more catch reports later in the week.
